Basic Financial Services
- Goal identification and clarification
- Post-Divorce Budget Development and Analysis
- Cash Flow Analysis (today and in the future)
- Development of Comprehensive Marital Balance Sheet for use in settlement discussions
- Income Analysis for both parties
- Consultations with the client and client’s attorney to develop a property settlement and spousal support proposal and provide supporting financial documentation.
- Analysis and review of settlement proposals suggested by the other side
- Attend mediation as part of the client’s advocacy team
- Testify at Arbitration or Trial
Complex Financial Services
- Advise on QDRO and pension/retirement account division issues for qualified plans, non-qualified plans, IRAs and Annuities as well as prepare proposed Judgment language for your case
- Analysis of Executive Compensation packages for highly paid employees
- Analysis of stock options, RSUs, PSUs and other incentive compensation as well as prepare proposed Judgment language on the above
- Advise on the complex tax issues relative to divorce that may be applicable to your case
- Separate property tracking analysis
- Auditing of bank and credit card statements for marital dissipation
Post Divorce Transition Coaching: NEW for 2025
Services can include the following menu items and are billed at one flat fee.
- Review final divorce decree
- Create a blueprint and timeline for all pending tasks (i.e. account transfers, name change process, obtain health insurance coverage, hire new professional team, etc…)
- Create a tracking log to manage all critical post-divorce financial tasks
- Meet with Client to review plan and follow-up, as needed
- Oversee, monitor and assist, as needed with QDRO and IRA transfers
- Oversee and assist (as needed) with after-tax account transfers (i.e. brokerage accounts, annuities, etc…)
- Provide introductions to professionals needed: (financial advisor, CPA, estate planning attorney, other necessary professionals)
